General Info about .cl domain names (Cile)
- All letters "a" to "z" without distinguishing between uppercase and lowercase are accepted;
- All numbers from "0" to "9" are allowed;
- Hyphens (-) are allowed but not at the begin or end in your domain name and you can't put 2 consecutives hyphens (--);
- The minimum length of the domain name is 3 characters extension (.cl) excluded;
- The maximum length of the domain name is 63 characters extension (.cl) excluded;
Documentation requirements
No paper documentation is required and can be registered by anyone.
After the order, a ticket must be opened communicating the identity card number or the tax identification number (RUT: Single Tax Role) in the case of a person Chilean physics or law.

Maximum annual number for domains .cl
For the .cl extension there are no limits with respect to the annuities that can be registered, but you can request a single order on our site from a minimum of 1 year to a maximum of 10 years. Naturally the service can be renewed.
Maximum number of .cl domains adjustable
.cl domains can be registered for a minimum of 2 years renewable.

It is not necessary to pre-set the NameServer.
